This paper presents methodology for structural analysis ofmechatronic devices’ mechanisms. It allows to determine the number of redundant contour links and redundant degrees of freedom of eachclosed-loop mechanism. Simultaneously it suggests possible ways to eliminate them. This gives a tool to design efficient mechatronic systems with improved performance.
