Automated manufacturing and problem of science as “direct” productive force

The thesis about conversion of science into “direct productive force”, formed in the middle of 20th century and based on distorted interpretation of well-known classical author’s statement, is revised. The illegitimacy of excessive relativization of connection between material and ideal is shown.
