This article explains the need to consider the concept of “technological capital” in categorical conceptual apparatus of the philosophy of technology insofar as this concept combines, in fact, aspects of technological, on the one hand, and on the other, the socalled immaterial assets that are the man himself, his knowledge and skills, as well as objectivated knowledge. Furthermore, the article argues that technological capital may also be considered as a criterion of innovative development.
