The  model  developed  by  the  author  is  presented  in  article  for  forecasting  and  an  assessment  of  reliability  of  the software on the example of automated control systems.   On an entrance of model debugging time moves, at the exit the forecast for value of failure rate is formed. The model can be used as for a preliminary approximate estimate of expenses for design of the software product at a stage of development of the specification on it, and for an exact assessment of the actual reliability of the software product at a stage of its debugging for making decision on the debugging termination.
