The analysis of socio-cultural phenomenon of youth subcultures

The article is devoted to the analysis of socio-cultural phenomenon of youth subcultures in modern Russia. As an example, a youth subculture «Do It Yourself (DIY)» is used. The effect on the formation of youth subcultures in modern society and their relationship to post-industrial and information society.
