Gravitational settling by low Reynolds number of aerosol and hydrosol dumb – bells particles

Mathematical model was developed describing low Reynolds number quasi-stationary process ofthe gravitational deposition in viscous medium of solid particles with dumb-bells form. The found formulas allow to estimate both the forward motion and the rotatorymotion ofthe dumb-bells particle. It has shown that by the gravitational deposition the particles pass on the state ofstable equilibrium. Further the particles move without rotation.
