Improvement of microgeometry of titanium alloy products’ surface layer by ultrasonic treatment

By formulating a methodology of planning an experiment and using mathematical-statistical analysis ofempirical data one was able to establish patterns and regularities and find regression equations which determine the connection between technological conditions and microgeometry parameters of the surface layer that enable one to control quality of products in the process oftreatment. The research results are compared with experimental data ofother authors who studyvarious methods ofsurface plastic deformation.
