The implementation of two technology options has been investigated: the basic one with the use of a minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) and with additional air cooling (CAMQL). The influence of the dosing regimens of the lubricant medium and the amount of cooled air flow supplied to the cutting zone on the parameters of the grinding process of the heat-resistant nickel alloy has been evaluated. It was found that the use of CAMQL provides a decrease in cutting force, temperature of the processed surface and helps to clean the working surface of an abrasive tool.
Keywords: minimum quantity lubrication, cooled air, grinding, cutting force and temperature.
