The influence of tool production methods on the surface adhesion forces is considered. The reduction of these forces allows the cutting tool to work with low friction coefficients, which creates working conditions in the «low-intensity wear» mode and increases its durability. Experimental studies of the surface of a special fine-grained hard alloy VK10OM with the usage of various grinding speeds for sharpening were carried out.
