Synthesis of optimal planning solution for production areas of multi-item production using alternative technological processes

Method of synthesis of optimal arrangement of equipment for those production areas of multi-nomenclature production, which operate under conditions of application of alternative technological processes, is described. Two algorithms are used to solve this problem. Using linear programming methods, an estimate of various equipment placement options is calculated, which is a criterion for their comparison. Various arrangements are searched using the heuristic annealing method.
