Identification of damping of elastic-dissipative relations of dynamic system models of feed drives of CNC machine tools by modal damping coefficients

The possibility of occurrence of monophasic vibrations and provision of energy equivalence of dynamical systems with diagonalizable and non-diagonalizable damping matrices is considered in the article. A method is proposed for determining of damping coefficients of the feed drive elements with ball screw by modal damping, obtained experimentally, and also the effect of input error parameters on the accuracy of damping coefficients identification was studied.
