Braking factor's determination by the directional search method in the appraisal of machines and equipment

The article presents an directional search algorithm for the values of the braking factors for parametric adjustment of the prices of analogues based on the interval data given in the reference literature. The proposed method of directional search relies on the use of a numerical Fibonacci series with a minimum average quadratic deviation of the adjusted prices of analogues in the procedure for estimating the cost of machines and equipment by direct compareison method.
