Value analysis as a methodological tool to eliminate functional-parametric redundancy engineering products

The article discusses the use of cost analysis in order to identify and eliminate the functional-parametric redundancy engineering products. The notion of the excess of the cost of the object of analysis. Noted factors of functional, parametric and qualitative redundancy. The calculated model for determining the excess of the cost and utilization factors useful potential cost analysis of the ob-ject are listed.
