Identification of damping coefficients of feed drive elements of CNC machines with ball screw

The article is devoted to identification of damping coefficients of feed drive elements of CNC machines with ball screw. The method of spatial damping coefficients obtaining of multiple degree of freedom system from a modal damping obtained experimentally. The presented method allows to identify the spatial damping coefficient of drive components with great accuracy.
