Research of thermal properties of high-speed spindle

Simulation and experimental results of thermal properties of high$speed grinding spindle unit running on angular contact ball bearing sare presents. The obtained results have proved significant influence of operating conditions (spindlerpm, external load, preload in bearings, lubricant viscosity and method of lubrication in bearings) on thermal properties of spindle.
