Kinematic and elastic deformation features of angular contact ball bearings

This paper presents simulation and experimental results of kinematic and elastic deformation features of angular contact ball bearings for high speed spindle units. An influence of bearing rpm, preload, temperature on its kinematics and stiffness is shown. The basic assumptions, when developing a math model of the bearings, are presented.
