This article deals both with the investigations of the applicative computing systems’ (ACS) features and also with functional programming languages for building the software development tool for computerized manufacturing systems (CMS) design and support. It is emphasized that programming paradigms and properly language choosing both plays important role and considerably impacts on CMS components integration. The FP programming system developed under the authors’ scientific supervision is
briefly described.
