Methods of calculating the energy dissipation coefficient when cutting materials

The article sets out the methodology to determine the numeric values of the energy dissipation coefficient when cutting metals. The expressions that are used in the theory and practice of metals processing by pressure have been used in the analysis to determine the optimal processing temperature and speed. Obtained relationship is valid for the schemes of deformation when cutting in one shear plane.
