Sharpening a face of twist drills with curvilinear cutting edges

In  paper  a  form  of  face  of  twist  drills  with  curvilinear  cutting  edges,  as  well  as  sharpening  of  such  drills  are considered. Mathematical model of face depending on geometrical parameters of twist drill and optimum distribution a rake  angle  along  the  cutting  edge  is  developed.
