Prediction of formation of surface defects of forging flange when warm metal forming

The article considers the methods of prediction of formation of surface defects on the part of the flange forgings in the manufacture of parts by the method of hot forging dies in with split matrices. Conducted field experiments, confirming the results of the calculations.
