Features of the design of machine for selective laser sintering

Article is devoted to the analysis of a design of machine for selective laser sintering. The article describes the technology of rapid prototyping using the technique of selective laser sintering. The main parts and a control system of selective laser sintering machine are considered in the paper. The types of laser sources used in such machines and the principle of scanning systems operation are described.
