Mathematical model of a curvilinear cutting edge of a spiral drill with increased tool life

In article it is considered increases of tool life of the twist drill at the expense of a curvature of its cutting edges in a face of a standard drill. The mathematical model ofthe bent cutting edge is constructed, dependences of chip thickness and tool rake of a drill with the bent cutting edge are investigated, the factor of change of drill life of a drill with the bent cutting edge in comparison with a standard drill is received.
