Building adaptive security system based on multi-agent system

This article is concerned with security of information system. We offer multi-agent based adaptive security system and present advantages of the system and its potential architecture. The requirements for agents’ functionality and possible variants of agents’ operability are described. We give disadvantages of existent rule-based security systems and emphasize the perspective of multi-agent security system and capability to use it for building adaptive security system in accordance with network structure, required safety level and available compute resources.
