Development of manufacturing technology and quality control methods for solid-drawn cylinders from AMg5 alloy

The paper proposes a method for manufacturing high-pressure cylinders from AMg5 alloy by stamping on pressing equipment. The advantages of the technology are described in comparison with the option of rolling pipe blanks. A method for controlling the quality of cylinders using acoustic emission has been developed and analyzed.
