Splitting schemes using the spectral method for the numerical solution of the complex Ginzburg-Landau equation

In this paper we present first, second, fourth, and sixth order splitting schemes for the numerical solution of the complex Ginzburg—Landau equation. The obtained results are analyzed and discussed in terms of accuracy and speed of execution.
