Progressive methods of the fastening of pulleys and chain sprockets on shafts

Traditional ways of the fastening of pulleys and chain sprockets on shafts with opportunity of small axial regulated displacement with analyses of their shortcomings are examined. A construction for reliable mounting not only pulleys and chain sprockets but also other details on shafts in combination with opportunity of rapid regulation of their axial position is proposed. In this construction the attachment of parts on the shaft is carried out by means of two tapered conical bushings of various types.
