Restoration of true temperature based on the infrared camera measurements for laser surface melting of steel plates

The metrology to define true temperature of molten pool under laser action on steel plates using infrared camera is developed. It is based on comparison of measured brightness temperature with molten poll width. The temperature profiles along the axis of laser beam displacement and corresponding temperature gradients are found.
