Considered computing the possibility of estimating the deformation of the surface layer in machining cutting tool with different levels of wear. Conducted experimental comparison of calculation results with the data obtained by results of the analysis of the distortion of the grid during cutting. The results of the evaluation of the influence of the intensity of deformation on the parameters of the vibroacoustic signal.
