Rational structure of nitride ceramics for high temperature applications

Rational structure of nitride ceramics for high temperature applications organized by the grains elliptical in shape by experiments is showed. In this form of the  in the grain surface and in the surface of the intergranular phase adjacent to the ceramic matrix, formed the most favorable stress condition in comparison with the grain of the round shape. In the surfaces of the intergranular phase adjacent to the grain and the matrix, the advantage of the elliptical shape of the grain is not obvious and is determined by the equality of values of certain indicators of heterogeneity of stress.
